Academic Visit to Regional Science Centre & Planetarium, Calicut

The Departments of Mathematics and Physics, EMEA College of Arts & Science, Kondotty, organized an Academic Visit to the Regional Science Centre & Planetarium, Calicut on 20th September 2025.
The visit was designed to provide students with experiential learning beyond the classroom, allowing them to witness practical demonstrations that complement their academic studies.
The programme included two major sessions:
- Demonstration of Mechanical Experiments from 10:00 AM to 12:00 PM, where students observed and engaged with real-world applications of physics principles.
- Planetarium Show from 12:00 PM to 1:00 PM, offering an immersive journey through the wonders of space and astronomy.
The visit was coordinated by Dr. Ramsiya M (Teacher Coordinator) and Ms. Fathima Hiba (Student Coordinator). Their efforts ensured smooth organization and meaningful engagement throughout the day.
The academic visit was highly beneficial, providing students with valuable insights into scientific concepts, fostering curiosity, and enhancing their understanding of both theoretical and practical aspects of science.
