Swachhata Hi Seva – Beach Cleanliness Drive

The National Cadet Corps (NCC) unit of EMEA College of Arts and Science, Kondotty, organized a Beach Cleanliness Drive as part of the nationwide campaign “Swachhata Hi Seva” on Saturday, 11th October 2025, at Chaliyam Beach.
The initiative aimed to promote the spirit of cleanliness, environmental responsibility, and community service among students. NCC cadets actively participated in collecting plastic waste, debris, and other litter from the beach, contributing to maintaining the ecological balance and beauty of the coastal area.
The event highlighted the importance of cleanliness and environmental conservation, aligning with the vision of a cleaner and greener India. It also provided cadets with a meaningful opportunity to engage in hands-on service, fostering teamwork, discipline, and civic awareness.
The cleanliness drive received appreciation from local residents and beachgoers, setting an example of youth-led community participation in environmental protection.
